ABDÜLKERİM MURAT ATİK appointed DG of Turkish State Railways
Turkish States Railways (TCDD) said the new TCDD Director General has been appointed.

TEHRAN UIC RAME: Anew Director General of the Turkish States Railways (TCDD), which operates under the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, has been appointed.

Mr  Abdülkerim Murat  ATİK  was  born  in Ankara  in  1969.  He  has  a  graduate  degree  in Department of Economics from Istanbul University. He also has Master’s degrees in both Economical Structure of European Union and Political History of Middle East and International Relations.

 

Holdin the   positions   of   Chairman   o TurkeyVietnam   Foreig Economic   Relations Board (DEIK), member of Steering Committees for TurkeyItaly and TurkeyJapan Business Councils, commission for DEIK ASEAN working group and Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association, Mr ATİK is also performing his mission in World Energy Council (WEC).

 

Having an experience of over 25 years in Railway sector, Mr. Ablkerim Murat Atik has mastered at signalization and telecommunication Technologies, measurement and safety assessment Technologies for railways, Certification engineering of high speed lines, automatic inspection and measurement Technologies, business development for rail system operations, urban railway vehicles, founding local and foreign partnerships and financing.

 

He was awarded with Total Quality Management Golden Award by Business Initiative Directions (BID), with The Best Executive in Anticipating Economics and Creating Investment Strategies by Europe Business Assembly, with Partnership Award for Turkey-Italy Railway Measurement and Assessment and with Certificate of Appreciation by the Ministry of European Union Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.

 

He speaks Italian, German and English fluently.
