With the presence of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, 56 sets of new domestic rail fleet were inaugurated and entered the country's rail network.
TEHRAN, UIC RAME: The ceremony of the first phase of the operation of the new rail fleet was held at Tehran Railway Station with the presence of Mohammad Eslami, Minister of the Roads and Urban Development, and Saeid Rasouli, RAI President.
The ceremony unveiled 56 sets of new rail fleet, including locomotives, freight cars and passenger coaches.
Four domestic manufacturers, including Mapna Locomotive and Pars Wagon, have invested more than 125 billion toman concerning the construction of these wagons.
In addition to the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran (RAI), other three companies bought domestic products of these companies.
