The Government of Saudi Arabia will launch transport projects in 2020.
TEHRAN UIC RAME: Public-private partnership transport projects will be launched by Saudi Arabia in 2020 with a budget of several billions of US dollars. The new projects will include the expansion of the Riyadh airport and five other regional airports. In addition, the government has outlined a plan to have a railway project linking the Red Sea City of Jeddah to Dammam in the Eastern Province through the capital. Discussions are being held with a China-based state-owned firm on the projects, although no details were disclosed.
