Turkish State Railways (TCDD) indicated that a number of 5 touristic trains will be launched in near future.
TEHRAN UIC RAME: The Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Turkish state-owned railway operator TCDD Tasimacilik (TCDD) are currently planning the introduction of new touristic trains in Turkey. The trains are set to travel over long distances and stop at fewer, but more important stations. A number of five trains will be introduced initially in addition to the Dogu Express scheduled to be launched on 29 May 2019. The introduction of the trains is targeted at increasing tourism levels nationwide, with those around the region of Anatolia in particular to be accessed more easily as a result.
